Tsukiji

Given my love of seafood, it’s the best food there is guys, I felt compelled to visit the largest fish market in the world.  I promised Shaun sushi here even though it was ice cold outside and all I wanted was burnt miso ramen for breakfast, lunch and tea.

And I don’t know whether it was the mini truck of tuna heads that nearly ran me over, or the hosing of blood into my walkway, but at the end I could not even imagine my full tummy being as a result of the millions of fishy deaths I had just witnessed.

But that’s not to say that I wasn’t captivated, blown away, or uninspired by this place.  It is one of my favourite photo-sets I’ve ever taken, and more importantly one of the most interesting travel memories I’ll have forever.
