Eyes

The Eyes Have It

Based on a short story by Philip K. Dick, this adaptation really allowed me to explore creating within a very small team.  Each of us played multiple roles in its production, and considering the five short hours we were on set, it showed me yet again that preparation in key.

Nail your script.  Finalise a strong storyboard.  Shotlist and bloody well stick to it.  Rehearse.  Don’t get too attached to the props you built or the sleepless nights it took perfecting the look of a play-doh heart.  Hire awesome people.  Experiment whenever there is room to.  Light is fun.  So is sleep.

Produced, directed, adapted, styled, lit, cast, and props made by me. Everything else was Pamela Sujono and Edward Christie.
